Woman came home to find a man in her kitchen. He ran out
the side door and ran down Scotland toward S Elm. She
described him as fairly short, possibly just a teenager,
hooded sweatshirt, BB cap, and a Giants jacket. Unknown on
race. She never saw his face. After he ran out, female
went through home, shut and locked basement door, and then
drove to her son-in-laws home on S Elm St. He was who
called us.
Narrative:
Once on scene, the rear cellar door storm door appeared to
have fresh pry marks, though slight. Storm door was locked,
but homeowner had left steel door unlocked. Appears she
interrupted him almost as soon as he got in as there was
absolutely nothing out of place or missing.

K-9 was unable to get a trail. Homeowner had already gone
through home and touched door so BCI was not called.
