Over the past nine weeks, members of our community took part in the Citizens Police Academy, led by Detective Jared Percival. This community-based program is designed to give residents an inside look at our department and the services we provide.
Throughout the Academy, participants gained valuable insight into police operations, procedures, and responsibilities through engaging discussions with our officers and community partners. Topics covered included patrol procedures, motor vehicle and criminal law, and crime scene investigations. Thank you to all department personnel that volunteered to help on their time off.
