The West Bridgewater Police Department is no longer a civil service agency and is having its own examination to hire new police officers. Salary range $61,000-$107,819 depending on existing experience and secondary degrees status in the field of Criminal Justice.
Exam date: May 17, 2025 starting at 9AM at the Middle-Senior High School in West Bridgewater
Candidates must register by clicking here no later than May 10, 2025, in order to participate in the examination process. Only candidates who successfully pass the examination will be considered for employment. The exam is only one factor used in the hiring process.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Must register, take, and pass the written examination
Must be compliant with all POST C requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Must have a valid MA Drivers license
Must not have any Felony convictions
Must be able to obtain a License to Carry a Firearm
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Candidates will be subjected to an extensive background investigation, medical / physical evaluation and psychological screening.
